Clean, Renewable, and Efficient Energy
Biodiesel is a renewable, biodegradable fuel made from natural sources such as vegetable oils,
animal fats, or recycled cooking grease. It is a cleaner alternative to conventional diesel,
reducing greenhouse gas emissions and dependence on fossil fuels.
Biodiesel can be used in pure form (B100) or blended with petroleum diesel in different
proportions (e.g., B20 – 20% biodiesel, 80% diesel) without major modifications to most diesel engines.
The EN 14214 is the European standard that defines the quality requirements for biodiesel (Fatty Acid Methyl Esters – FAME) intended for use in diesel engines.
| Parameter | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Ester content | ≥ 96.5% |
| Density at 15°C | 860–900 kg/m³ |
| Viscosity at 40°C | 3.5–5.0 mm²/s |
| Cetane number | ≥ 51 |
| Oxidation stability | ≥ 8 hours |
| Sulphur content | ≤ 10 mg/kg |
Compliance with EN 14214 ensures that biodiesel meets strict fuel quality requirements, guaranteeing
compatibility, performance, and environmental benefits.
All our biodiesel products are produced and tested in accordance with EN 14214, ensuring maximum performance, safety, and environmental responsibility.
